Is it possible to learn Indian classical vocal music after 35 years of age, because your vocal instrument becomes rigid compared to young age? Well you are right the best age to learn indian classical  music is young age but this does not mean that you can not learn classical at the mature age. In fact it becomes lot easier to follow the basic rules of classical music in mature age when your vocal cords are fully developed. So in my opinion there is no harm, you can still learn.
